On Feb. 9, Mr. Hernandez, 38, was arrested by federal immigration agents near his home, not far from La Fiesta, and taken to a detention facility in Missouri. The federal authorities confirmed that he remained in custody, but would not comment on the precise reason for or timing of his arrest.
Immigration officials noted that Mr. Hernandez had two drunken-driving convictions from 2007, a circumstance that could make him a higher priority for deportation. Friends of his say he crossed into the United States from Mexico in the late 1990s and had started but never completed efforts to legalize his status.
I swear that Mexico must take their worst to the border and give them the government brochure they produced on how to illegally cross the border and what to do once they get on our side.
They need to deport like when takes off a bandage off a hairy hair! Quick! They'll be a scream, but it will be over!

So...he never bothered to complete the process to legalize his status. Meanwhile, his wife became a US citizen. She somehow managed to do it, so what is his excuse? If I had to guess, when Obama stopped going after illegals and stopped the BP and ICE from doing their jobs, Hernandez got cocky and figured that no one was going to come after him.
I don't feel at all sorry for him. He's not the only illegal who tells everybody how much good they did while being here illegally. It still doesn't change the fact that he is an illegal alien.

Most of us DON'T care; you had years to make things legal but didn't.
Mr. Hernandez is the cause of the sorrow of his family and nobody else!
