I think we will have to pay a higher cost of living, and more and more people will have to turn to welfare. Food will only get more expensive with the gas prices still rising. People will probably do away with things they can do without, but a roof over your head and food in your stomach is something you really can't do without.
I will take my chances.
If we as a nation are that addicted to illegal immigrant labor------we do not deserve to exist.
Lets dance on the grave of the greatest experiment in recorded history shall we
Maybe not.
The pendulum is starting to swing the other way against this multiculturalism nonsense------in particular, the attempted official use of any language other than English.
Are we ready to pay the price? Let's say we manage to deport every single illegal immigrant in the Unites States, kids included.
Are we ready to pay a higher cost of living? More expensive food, homes and business (higher construction costs), landscaping, higher prices for hotels and other things?
This is EXACTLY what needs to happen. Buy made in the USA if at all able, buy locally, avoid the 'big box' stores, etc.
Professor of Law [122] writes that the belief that undocumented migrants are exploiting the US economy and that they cost more in services than they contribute to the economy is "undeniably false". Lipman asserts that "undocumented immigrants actually contribute more to public coffers in taxes than they cost in social services" and "contribute to the U.S. economy through their investments and consumption of goods and services; filling of millions of essential worker positions resulting in subsidiary job creation, increased productivity and lower costs of goods and services; and unrequited contributions to Social Security, Medicare and unemployment insurance programs

"Subsidiary job creation"? Is this magic number what they are basing this on? I have seen some of this nonsense before, but it just doesn't fly. It cost roughly $10K per year to educate a child in the public school system (some places as low as $6K others as high as $18K). Bilingual education is even more costly, so I am being generous with the $10K figure. Lets say illegal aliens ONLY had 2 kids (again, i am being generous), that is $20K per year. Even the minority that actually pay taxes with stolen SS#s don't pay anywhere near $20K per year in taxes. And we haven't even factored in health care. I have to hand it to the guys that write these articles, they come up with some pretty creative financing to get the numbers they are looking for, but when you examine the reality of the situation, it is mathematically impossible. Not even close.

Ok..what about the millions WITHOUT children. The vast majority come here ALONE. And I will tell you, an illegal immigrant will die before going to a US hospital. They rough out sickness at home. Unlike Americans that if they have a slight headache or fever they run to the emergency rooms!

This is simply not true. Since we are not allowed to ask immigration status, it would be impossible to prove who is and isn't legal, but there are countless charity care patients that speak no english. I'd venture to guess that many of these are not here legally.
