To the OP's question in the title... Answer: It's where the leftist priorities are of the party in power. The Democrats are funded by global concerns that rely on the "Billions-to-Millions" cycle. That's the mill that sends Billions to overseas organizations and they send back to the various individuals in government millions in return.

Maybe migrants are part of the reason for homeless Americans. So many illegal migrants are now taking American jobs. And I don't mean the handyman assistant, plumber assistant. The work in the medical field, government clerical jobs, restaurants.

Maybe it would be better build/add on to make larger homeless shelters for both migrants and homeless that way all get the warm cot, a hot meal and shower. While they are at it a washer and dryer since the schools are now supplying that with detergent for the children whose parents cannot afford to wash their clothes.

I IMHO all this catering to migrants is just to be opposite, and retaliate against, of what Trump was doing which was to allow them in a little at a time and make sure they are vetted first.

Most of these illegals and asylum seekers lack the skills and education to take medical, government and clerical jobs and they would be heavily vetted before allowing them to do those jobs.

They do work in restaurants, construction and landscaping businesses though and they work for less therefore putting Americans out of jobs.

I've never heard of any schools that have washers and dryers to do laundry for school kids either. Got a link to that?

Need I remind everyone we also send billions for foreign countries for FMF like UKR. And UKR is definitely not the only one. We also send money to foreign countries for things like transgender studies etc etc.

When it comes to the anchor babies, they are taking the skilled jobs and also the college openings/financial assistance away from the children of citizens.

But,

https://www.pewresearch.org/hispanic...grant-workers/

"Among unauthorized immigrant workers, 6% held management jobs in 2014, compared with 15% of U.S.-born workers who did. An additional 8% were in professional occupations, compared with 22% of U.S.-born workers. Sales and office support occupations employed 13% of unauthorized immigrant workers, compared with 25% of U.S.-born workers who held these types of jobs."

Note: U. S. born workers were the anchor babies.

Some of those coming into the country from Venezuela have money, so are probably educated. Once they get their "asylum", they'll get a green card, and most likely a hiring preference as a minority.

There are so many construction workers out of work, and it is no longer useful for a younger person to learn that trade.

Jobs for the uneducated and unskilled are disappearing, so we really need what is left for our own.

Once they get their "amnesty", they will be to stay at home with their anchor babies, and we'll support the entire family. But, but, we need workers. Ah, we'll get a new batch of illegal aliens to replace those amnestied, and the saga of the destruction of the USA will continue.

Answer: the "migrants'" votes are the best that money can buy - for the Democratic party.

they are paid for by donations. I am not sure about the cost of the water but the machines and I assume some of the detergent are donated.

They also go to school to work in a doctor's office to answer the phones, take the blood do the blood pressure. I'm not saying they become doctors.

They are not vetted at the border. The come here and find a lawyer to help them get set up. Usually, the lawyer will pay for their rent, get them established with papers they need to go to school that the lawyer tells them they have to do. Then when they graduate, they get the job and pay back the lawyer a little at a time. Most of them are women. The men usually start off as an assistant with painters, plumbers they don't do the jobs that require college or a license.

As far as government jobs most jobs in government require read, write, and speak English. High School diploma. Birth certificate and if they want a decent paying job get in the door with the clerk job for filing. But you have a point they are more looked into with proof of who they are in the government job. I know a woman who came here to get away from her BF who was abusive to her. She was allowed to stay because of the abuse to be safe from him and she eventually got a job working in Domestic Violence dept. unfortunately, the bastard followed after her and made her life a living hell. Long story short she ended up getting the help and protection she needed and a good job. She did go to school and learned how to work on the computer. She has been there about 7 years now. Came with clothes on her back and a friend in a weird way that abusive bastard helped her get the job. She was afraid to go to the police or file charges against him so every time they took him away, he would get out and come back. Geez what miserable way to live in fear like that.

How about these "migrants" apply to come here legally instead? How about these asylum seekers be made to wait outside our border till their cases can be verified? There is no asylum for someone who claims her boyfriend has abused her either and rightly so!
