It appears the folks in power have decided that illegal immigrants trump the importance of legal Americans.

Not sure why certain Democratic groups premier interests are disregarded in favor of being pro illegal immigration. The environment, the plight of American blacks and the poor.

Wouldn't a better question be something like, "Why are we spending millions on football and cigarettes and conflict diamonds and fighter jets when there are migrants and Americans who need homes?"

Who cares if the author doesn’t like racism. Blacks and everyone else need to wake up to this disease.

How are things way out there in left field?

People are paying for those things out of their own pockets not the taxpayer's money. As for fighter jets they are a part of the military used to protect our own citizens.

Americans without homes should be our concern not migrants making bogus asylum claims or those sneaking into our country illegally.

No, that is not a better question, and is irrelevant to the discussion. So, I guess you give most of your income to the homeless vs football and cigarettes (neither that I partake of), which is fine. But, my issue is MY tax dollars supporting people who voluntarily left their homes, came here and step in front of citizens or legal immigrants to get public housing, while 1/2 million people sleep on the streets, people go without medical care, mental health services are almost impossible for some to access, we spend billions on illegal aliens every single year................... Charity begins at home!

Illegal aliens, once they drop an anchor baby, go in front of citizens that do not have children, both single and married citizens. This has been going on FOREVER, and will only keep getting worse as Biden drops to his knees and kisses their feet!

Also, illegal aliens should be housed in THEIR country. Illegal aliens have not "migrated", they have entered our country illegally, overstayed their visas (illegal) or made a bogus claim of asylum, won't show up to their hearing, and become illegally present at that time!

If not for migrants many places have a lot of homes freed up putting downward pressure on housing costs. California, and NYC are such places.
