I do agree so many immigrants are great workers and helpful folks. But that's not what's been flooding in over the last few years. Our entire immigration process is so broken it's absurd.
"The number of migrants crossing the border has declined.* And even though immigrants commit less crime on average than American-born Americans.** And even though people have always crossed our borders.***

California in particular is home to millions in mixed-status families. Kids might be citizens when parents are not. Siblings, cousins, husbands, wives — it is common for some to be documented and others not.

As Sen. Alex Padilla--the son of Santos and Lupe Padilla, Mexican immigrants who settled in Los Angeles--said, we are the world’s fifth largest economy, and that’s 'not despite our immigrant population. It is because of the immigrant population.' "

-Mexican immigration to California has dramatically slowed down
-California has less appeal to non-Mexican/Northern Triangle Latinos
-the Bay Area's dramatic Asian and Indian growth of the 2010s will likely slow due to tech layoffs
-though a lot of Chinese and Indian Sikh migrants are coming to California but are poorer than the 2010s Asian wave
-California does seem to be attracting Afghan and Ukrainian refugees, especially Sacramento
You couldn't be more wrong about Mexican illegal immigration and I note that you didn't provide a link to your claims. We are mostly getting Mexican and other Latino illegal immigration to Calif. and other southwestern states.

This is the illegal immigration forum so they shouldn't be referred to as plain ole migrants either.

Nice people do not violate a nation's immigration laws and take jobs, taxes and resources from the rightful citizens of that country. They do not commit felony ID theft or tax evasion if they are nice either.
