Good Lord. Have you ever heard of the term 'cost shifting'? It works like this: 25 illegals show up for a chest X-ray t and none of them pay. Let's say the actual cost of the chest X-ray is $50. The technician who takes the film needs to be paid, there is the cost of operating the X-ray machine, it is going to cost to have the film developed, the radiologist who reads the X-ray needs to be paid for his services, the orderly who transported the patient to and from the radiology suite needs to be compensated and the clerk who files the film has to be paid. If the 25 illegals simply walk away from the bill, the hospital is out $1250. They begin to look for some way to recoup at least a portion of the $1250. What happens is that a patient with insurance is charged more for the X-ray. You are not paying for only the X-ray you had, you are also helping to cover the costs of the illegal's chest X-rays. That's not fair, you say? YOU are one of the biggest supporters of illegal aliens in this forum!
An uninsured American patient may have Medicaid coverage or will at least pay part of the bills. Illegal aliens are well known for walking off and leaving the hospital holding the bag.
Darlin', you have no business complaining about the costs of your health care while you are actively supporting illegal aliens who are doing nothing but sucking the US healthcare system dry. You want you healthcare bills to go down? So do I. Let's work together to get the illegal aliens back to Mexico and the other countries that they are citizens of so their own governments can pay for their healthcare. Not the US.

I think some of the disconnect here, (as I understand it), is that people convince themselves that illegals don't actually "take" anyone's job...they seem to rationalize to themselves, ..."The illegals down the street didn't 'take' the jobs away from the Americans who worked there last month...the employer cut the wages by 35%, and the Americans either QUIT or were 'let go temporarily'...and the following Monday, the employer looked for more 'reasonable' employees, and the illegals were glad to help out"..if a person can think like this, they can avoid any guilt associated with illegals 'taking' jobs. If you have a lot of imagination, it makes sense...I guess...

Another point to consider . . . your referenced employer probably never reduced the price of his goods or services in spite of the big buck savings on labor, did he?
