Well: I blame the pro illegal crowd for besmirching any person who looks 'Latino' (Hispanic or not) due to their demands for amnesty. This woman is from Canada with her family being of Italian heritage.
Typical, you blame a whole class of people because of some officers actions.

Remember the Civil Rights Movement of two generations ago? Well; the risk is growing that what transpired for our Black American brothers and sisters may occur for stereotypical Latinos whether legal or not-----------in reverse. The anger is becoming that great.

Besides: many people do already blame illegal immigrants; most of whom are indeed some variety of Mestizo 'Hispanic' for quite a few problems here---------and, rightly so.

ya, blame the other person and not the one with the actual power here.

its all a power game:
Apparently you aren’t aware of the Janet Murguia illegal alien doctrine. According to Janet, ALL Hispanics are the same, irrespective of immigration status. It is her belief that when you oppose illegal immigration, you oppose Hispanics in general.

She, and like-minded Hispanics, have been instrumental in linking illegal with legal, and must accept responsibility for much of the backlash. When no distinction is made, all are treated accordingly.

I see nothing wrong w/civil rights. I see nothing wrong w/giving the benefit of the doubt to people. I don't see the glass as half empty, I see it as half full.

No doubt about it. As unemployment goes up those jobs the illegals have been doing will become more and more attractive. As legals start to feel the squeeze they will start to really get angry at the illegals milking us for all were worth. I do see violence on the horizon. I don't want it, welcome it or desire it, but something has to give. How do you tell a legal family thats struggling that illegals deserve aid and special consideration more than they do?

things dont need to get uglier.

ive said it once already. actually twice.

heres a third.

1 solution to getting jobs back in citizens hands...
tell all your friends that work in factories where illegals, or even suspected illegals, work to tip off ICE. investigations will be conducted. intel collected. records seized. etc etc.

but be stealth.

the immmigrants have phone trees and networks. dont forget, these same possible illegals also work at the hotels ICE checks into and the restaurants ICE eats at.

thats what should be done. as people feel the pinch of unemployment they must look within their communities and seek solutions. violence is not a solution.

it would be a sad and ignorant day when people are persecuted for supposed illegality in this country.

reminds me of those siekh 7-11 owners killed and assaulted following 9/11.

sad and ignorant.

The difference is that most of our American Blacks had ancestors where were brought here against their will.............whereas the illegals came here on their own accord.

And more and more people are starting to realize that.
