Speaking of which: an American child was apparently kidnapped due to his grandfather stealing from Mexican drug gangs---------this occurred either here in Arizona or Nevada. Just saw a blurb here on the local news KTVK Channel 3.
It was just a comment on my part to a "poster" on the immigration thread who is apparently a strident defender of illegal aliens in this country. His or her name is Bianca. G. He feels "the great and wonderful federal govt." will prevail and save all of the poor illegal border sneaks!
So I was providing him a bit of free advice on how to get back home safely.
And of course it's great to see that our side has been given the authority to such appropriate force.

We need to militarize the US Border Patrol and transform it into a branch of the military like the US Coast Guard.
Complete with armored vehicles, light artillery, replacement of the solo patrols with squad and platoon size patrols backed up by company sized quick reaction forces.

For one thing, I think the Border Patrol already uses armored vehicles, at least at a reasonable level for a border patrol.

The intent of the border patrol is to protect US citizens, not to hurt Mexicans. I live within 25 miles of the border and have been fired upon by illegals that weren´t too thrilled about me seeing them cross through my backyard. I doubt these guys came here simply for a better life. I´ts about time the boarder patrol is armed and capable of keeping this issue where it belongs...at the boarder and not north of it.

What indicates the "narco crap" is growing? The fact that youre beginning to learn more about it?
And all the narco crap can grow 10 times fold, and I wouldn't accept bombing civilians who have nothing to do with it.
At least less to do with it than the people making the demand keeping these organizations thriving.
