Pro-Open Borders Obama has aunt living ILLEGALLY in USA!!!!

This is not a joke - it's straight out of the liberal AP news wire:

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama's aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.

Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday.

This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case.

The disclosure about Onyango came just one day after Obama's presidential campaign confirmed to the Times of London that Onyango, who has lived quietly in public housing in South Boston for five years, was Obama's half aunt on his father's side. --> Note: it is a crime to live in public housing if you are illegal in USA (thanks tothe GOP Congress' passage of the Illegal Immigration Responsability Act of 1996 - signed into law by Bill).

Just remember that Obama (if elected) will have to answer to his American Black constitutents (sp) as well-------------which may be at the expense of especially the illegal immigrants.

I just seen the news story this morning...
No wonder why he wants amnesty, he probably
has many more illegal relatives living off of
Americans!

I was watching Obama's interview with Wolfe Blitzer on CNN yesterday and Wolfe presented the top 5 priority issues and concerns of ALL AMERICANS (which if elected is who Obama will represent and have to answer to, not just blacks) with immigration being one of them.

I noticed that Obama totally avoided ANY discussion of illegal immigration or how it would be handled. This IMHO signals he may just be pandering for the latino vote during the election and if elected he will allow the raids and deportations to continue. With all of the problems this country is experiencing many of which are a result of the massive illegal alien crime and tax payer draining issues, he is fully aware that promoting amnesty is not the answer.

No matter who wins the election I doubt that amnesty of any form will be granted.

It is entirely relevant. If Obama has a family member in our country illegally then his stand for amnesty is a conflict of interest. No different than say you are a judge and aunt is brought before you for a crime. You can not be the sitting judge on the case.
Obama if the story is true is in a position to not only pardon his aunts crimes but grant her amnesty. That is why it is important for all candidates to have their lives turned into an open book.
Tell me Chicago if Obama's aunt is no big deal why isn't he discussing his relationship with her? In fact in can be said he avoids discussing his relationships with his African family. Now that is what I find questionable.
He is fairly wealthy, a lawyer and yet he has quite a few relatives who live in poverty. What has he done to help them? I do include his half brother in this as well.
Over all I think Barrak Obama is a pretty decent guy. My issues with him are all about his politics. His brand of social programs only create dependency and remove personal accountability. Another is not only his stand on personal firearms but his running mate's whose stand is more anti-2nd amendment still.
Back to the thread. Obama needs to be held accountable if he is attempting to use his position to make his illegal alien aunt a legal through amnesty.

It is indeed relevant, and ITA in terms of his conflict with regards to his positions on illegal immigration and amnesty. This fact alone should put the issue front and center. Whether elected or not, Obama should be called out, forced to acknowledge and discuss not only his lack of disclosure of his knowlege of the issues surrounding his aunt, but as a senator, what he is prepared to do about his criminal aunt and others who deliberately defy deportation orders.

In terms of his lack of financial support or association with his african family members, there are many Americans within and outside of the political arena who have "cut-off" all contact or association with family members for various reasons. One of them being that unfortunately, we do not have the privilege of selecting our family members. We do, however, have the right to disagree with them and disassociate ourselves with them, for whatever reason. While I do not pretend to have insight in terms of Obama's decision to terminate any form of contact with his african family members, in light of the fact that his father abandoned him and his mother when he was a very young child, and until very recently, lack of any contact with them throughout his life, I would think plays a huge part and is the basis for his decision to abandon his ties with them. In terms of the vetting/open book process, throughout the history of this country, many stones have remained unturned and negatives have remained unscrutinized when it comes to the candidates running for office. The political right would have better served the American people and the process by forcing the vetting of Obama the man vs. using their race-based fear mongering and smear tactics as their weapon of choice to discredit him being qualified to run for POTUS.

The above are my personal beliefs and stances as well. Great post!

Thanks Pitbull. Your post was well thought out. Obama has noobligation to support extended family members financially. I don't. I have cousins who are poor. Thats on them. Perhaps less time whining about their plight and more time seeking solutions would benefit them more.
Obama is an intellegent man by any measure. I believe in my heart of hearts that he is also a good man over all. Like some of my closest friends he has socialist leanings. In america that is his right. As I said before its Obama's politics that concern me not his moral character. In this case he is an outspoken supporter of amnesty, granting citizen like rights to illegals including granting drivers licences. Is his Aunt a factor in his thought process? This is a valid question. His Aunt is but 1 of millions of illegals who would benefit from his amnesty. How many americans will be harmed by amnesty? Too many...... even if its only 1.
