it seems like the anti-illegals are losing. the zealots on this board are a small minority.
if you ask me, the strategy to take is to expose the true cause of our failing economy. they can blame the illegals the way hitler blamed the jews. and they can argue that in this tough economy we shouldnt take on any more baggage, but id be suprised if it did in fact turn out to be that the illegals are the cause of our economic woes.
you guys have your work cut out. your best strategy is to prove this country cant handle the extra 12 million folks (even if costs are offset by the fines collected from them)

June 12 (Bloomberg) -- Most Americans support central elements of the legislation overhauling U.S. immigration laws the Senate shelved last week after it failed to gain sufficient support from lawmakers.

Among the key findings of the poll are:
-- Only 32% of Obama voters considered his support for amnesty as a factor
in their decisions to vote for him. 67% said it was either not a factor
at all, or they voted for Obama in spite of his stance on amnesty.
-- 60% of voters said reducing illegal immigration and cracking down on
employers who hire them is important to them, while only 21% supported
"legalizing or creating a pathway to citizenship" for illegal
aliens. -- 57% of voters stated that amnesty would harm American workers and
further strain public resources, while only 26% believe amnesty would
aid economic recovery and ease public burdens.

Why stop there. How about give a path to citizenship to everyone on the planet who desires American citizenship. What makes illegals so special, or so much more in need than the rest of the worlds poor wanting a better life. I don't get it.

Agreed. The fact that Obama appointed another hispanic racist to head the Dept. of Labor simply implies that he is doing all he can to appease the LaRaza, OBL crowd. If they even think about passing another amnesty I sincerely hope they that they have planned on calling up every active and inactive duty national guard member they can find because they WILL NEED THEM.
