it seems like the anti-illegals are losing. the zealots on this board are a small minority.

if you ask me, the strategy to take is to expose the true cause of our failing economy. they can blame the illegals the way hitler blamed the jews. and they can argue that in this tough economy we shouldnt take on any more baggage, but id be suprised if it did in fact turn out to be that the illegals are the cause of our economic woes.

you guys have your work cut out. your best strategy is to prove this country cant handle the extra 12 million folks (even if costs are offset by the fines collected from them)

MLKs daughter aint the only one. Napolitano, Solis, Richardson, all newly appointed by obama, support a path to citizenship. you guys need some people in power to counteract them.
Watch your insults there:

Hitler and his Nazi's murdered millions of Jewish people---------many of whom was indeed German citizens whereas there have been NO mandated killings of illegal aliens by the Border Patrol or anybody else.

Hell: our BP treats illegals a whole lot better than the Mx Frontera Patrulla does illegals from Guatemala.

Yep, this is real current.

Among the key findings of the poll are:
-- Only 32% of Obama voters considered his support for amnesty as a factor
in their decisions to vote for him. 67% said it was either not a factor
at all, or they voted for Obama in spite of his stance on amnesty.
-- 60% of voters said reducing illegal immigration and cracking down on
employers who hire them is important to them, while only 21% supported
"legalizing or creating a pathway to citizenship" for illegal
aliens.
-- 57% of voters stated that amnesty would harm American workers and
further strain public resources, while only 26% believe amnesty would
aid economic recovery and ease public burdens

New polling finds that a large majority of voters broadly supports comprehensive immigration reform. Supporters of enforcement only policies may be loud, but there are not very many of them. In this difficult economy, voters are more likely to support immigration reforms that move undocumented workers out of the shadows and onto the tax rolls. Common sense solutions that help the economy and immigration policy are a win-win.
Some Key Points from the National Survey of Voters:

  • A large majority of voters broadly supports comprehensive immigration reform. Supporters of enforcement only policies may be loud, but there are not very many of them.
  • Though the economy dominates the issue landscape, immigration is still seen as a very serious problem and a high priority. Voters want the new President and Congress to shore up the crumbling economy. However, voters do want comprehensive immigration reform passed in this session of Congress.
  • In this difficult economy, voters are more likely to support immigration reforms that move undocumented workers out of the shadows and onto the tax rolls. Common sense solutions that help the economy and immigration policy are a win-win.

Martin Luther King Jr's daughter, Bernice King, says that illegal aliens in America should be given a path to citizenship.
Why stop there. How about give a path to citizenship to everyone on the planet who desires American citizenship. What makes illegals so special, or so much more in need than the rest of the worlds poor wanting a better life. I don't get it.

LOL, i guess your poll commisioned by the anti-immigrant hate group FAIR is any better?

The founder, chief ideologue and long-time funder of FAIR is a racist. Key staff members have ties to white supremacist groups, some are members, and some have spoken at hate group functions. FAIR has accepted more than $1 million from a racist foundation devoted to studies of race and IQ, and to eugenics — the pseudo-science of breeding a better human race that was utterly discredited by the Nazi euthanasia program. It spreads racist conspiracy theories. Its political ads have caused numerous politicians, Democratic and Republican, to denounce it

Any group opposing illegal immigration is deemed a hate group by you pro-illegals. So what’s new?

Take it up wit the ADL, there are facts and documentation to prove it. Btw, what's the difference between the poll you cited and the poll i cited? You claim mine is biased because it was commissioned by an immigration group while yours is legitimate because it was commissioned by an immigration restriction group.

Agreed. The fact that Obama appointed another hispanic racist to head the Dept. of Labor simply implies that he is doing all he can to appease the LaRaza, OBL crowd. If they even think about passing another amnesty I sincerely hope they that they have planned on calling up every active and inactive duty national guard member they can find because they WILL NEED THEM.

Aren't they all biased? I guess we’ll have to wait for the ‘actual’ results when We The People speak again. Do you remember the results of the last attempted amnesty?
