As anti-illegal as I am, I find this to be a very ignorant thread. If they need help I'd help them you'd be an evil person not to save someone's life or try to do something.

Agreed. What a stupid thread. On the flip side, maybe we should go over to the Politics and other controversies forum, ask the same question but replace the "illegal immigrant" with "Rush Limbaugh" or "Michael Savage" and see how many of the bleeding hearts prove to be heartless.
Good I'm glad there isn't anyone with enough screws loose to vote no. Regardless of you opinion on illegal immigration, they are humans. For those who say no, what would you do if you saw a hispanic person in need of CPR? Check them for a green card before preforming CPR? Give me a break.
23 voted "yes," and 1 voted "no." Bringing in saving a human life is, in my opinion, scraping the barrel. Fortunately for the large majority of us, we are NOT inhumane. We just want them to go back to their countries.
I recommend that all the pro-illegal alien cults start paying for the illegals in this country or, better yet, SPONSOR them for legal status. I'd like to see a poll on THAT.
The purpose of the thread was not to determine if anti-illegals would try to save the life of an illegal alien. The OP was hoping to receive a majority of “NO†responses, and then would accuse us of being racists, because a true racist would not touch a person from the hated group, even under life-threatening circumstances.
Sorry to disappoint you, but most anti-illegals are not heartless bigots. As others have stated, we simply want them to leave. This is, by far, one of the most asinine threads I’ve seen.

Now there is two people who voted no...
About the highlighted area, do you think that if it was possible to sponsor them for legal status a lot of those people would not be legal? Even a U.S. citizen cannot sponsor just anyone, just a Spouse, Child, Parent, and Sibling.
In my case, soon one of my companies will be the right size to sponsor people and will likely legalize as many of my friends as I can, but for the regular U.S. citizens there is no way to bring a member of an extended family or a friend.

That's all? Well!!! We had better change that! Why not allow them to drag over the neighbors, their bridge club, the high school debate team, the UPS guy and a dozen or so other random people of their own choosing?

Perhaps they do not know how to perform CPR.
What? Are you implying that not everyone knows how to perform CPR or is knowledgeable enough to perform it properly?
