But in the fine print...legalizaton of millions? Not so much. If there is any text in any bill that would legalize anyone maybe a fraction of that amount would fit that description.

“Our feelings are mixed at best,” said Clarissa Martinez De Castro, immigration director of the National Council of La Raza. “We understand the need for sensible enforcement, but that does not mean expanding programs that often led to civil rights violations.”
The civil rights violations of whom? Criminal illegal aliens who were caught while knowingly violating the law?
Offhand, I can't think of too many situations in which a law is being violated, things get worse and worse over tiime, and eventually the authorities are moved to 'crack down'......and the resulting crackdown is "liked" or "approved of" by the offenders who are the focus of said crackdown. Right now, I can't think of a SINGLE example.....
It pretty much goes without saying that when a law....ANY law...is at long last enforced, those who've become accustomed to breaking that law won't be 'happy' with that enforcement.

I was listening to pbs radio about how hundreds of thousands of Illegals are hunkering down in LA selling food , much that was making people sick. The Police and Health Dept were forced to stop them at random and dump their food because of code violations. Of course the Illegals don't approve of it. I sure as heck do if there is a chance it might put someone in the Hospital.
