I don’t doubt that corporations have been involved in some of their activities. However, illegal immigration is a different issue. Most of the corporations supporting the Tea Baggers profit from cheap illegal labor. I don’t think they will support losing their workforce.
Actually, a lot of the "grassroots" organizations are in fact props by corporations or the Rebpulican party itself. See, as long as illegal immigration is villainized, the corporations win. They can galvanize support by getting people riled up. People vote to "stop" illegal immigrants from gaining access to services. But in actuality, their vote causes programs to die or be limited to all, not just illegal immigrants. If they don't obtain amnesty...but still hated, they (the corporations) have cheap labor. If they are deported, then sweet contracts will be given to the defense industry (KBR, Haliburton, Blackwater...would profit). So it makes sense to be anti-illegal if you are a corporation.
It's all about divide and conquer. Divide the "have nots" and conquer. The us vs. them is a ploy to prop up the oligarchy that has become America.
I haven't considered this particular issue, but frankly, I am getting tired of hearing about these tea bagger people.
Frankly, I'm getting tired of hearing these sob stories about those "poor illegals" that are being ripped apart from their anchor babies and their families because they are held accountable for breaking the law..
I'm tired of hearing the Pro-Illegal Propaganda: "They do the jobs that Americans won't do", "They didn't cross the border, the border crossed them", etc..
I'm tired of hearing pandering politicans and opportunistic employers talk about the need to reward those that broke the law..

It makes as much sense as slave owners being abolitionists.

So you didn't read the post. If you villainize a group, that essentially makes and us vs. them dynamic. People like you, who think in these terms, then decide to follow with these large corporate interest groups. Thus, no amnesty, reduced benefits for all persons, and the continuation of cheap labor. This comes from your us vs. them mentality. The teabaggers are corporate props. Funding for these groups are a mash between corporations, the Republican party (and affiliates), as well as individuals.
I know you can understand this one...it's really easy to understand why corporate interests want to be a part of this. Villainization equates to cheap labor.
