It's refreshing seeing how "tolerant" the Pro-Illegal Folks are..
Having absolutely no sympathy for Mr. Dobbs (even in some cases WISHING for something even worse to happen to him and his family) and attempting to discredit him because he has a DIFFERENT point of view AND then engaging in name calling against those in disagreement with the Pro-Amnesty viewpoint...
By today's standards i.e. high (and growing) unemployment...........aiding/abetting illegal immigration* qualifies as treason IMHO.

What difference does it make where our ancestors came from? We aren't responsible for their actions anyway. But most of our ancestors came here legally not illegally. Again, learn to know the difference.
I'll ignore the rest of your post...because I've seen it many times from you before...but here's the main point. OUR ANCESTORS HAD NO IMMIGRATION LAWS!!! THERE WERE NO "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" UNTIL THE 1900s!

Then during the McCarthyism era, we enacted some more.
If we just allowed everyone in, sent them through a processing center where we'd take DNA samples, pictures, get necessary information about them, then we could be a much safer country. Any one of them commits a crime and we'd already have their DNA and a photo of them on file.
How would that be worse than what we have now?

I already know when we first had immigation laws so how does that make my statement inaccurate? What I said is that most of our European ancestors came here legally within the immigration laws that were in place at the time and of course if there weren't any then they still didn't come here illegally then.

Your info is wrong: many potential legal immigrants were rejected at Ellis Island and had to return home prior to 1920.

I have a suggestion. Why not delete the "initial" remarks by the trolls who start attacking others in this forum and then we would have no reason to feel we have to defend ourselves by responding to them? If one starts deleting all the "opinions" to the topics at hand other than personal attacks on other members then we would have no forum, would we?
