More and more: the question should be be if birthright citizenship will be rescinded for minor age Anchor Babies below a certain age........not that new Anchors will receive it---------that with be a fait accompli IMHO.
AZ Bear, I hear ya but I don't think if the law is changed that it will be made retroactive. Honestly, this country has been so destroyed by PC bleeding hearts that I think there would be a public outrage at that. I think the most we can hope for is to get the birthright amendment changed so that the abuse stops from that point forward.

And in all fairness: with the growing crackdown on illegal aliens; the odds are quite high that minor age Anchors will follow their illegal alien parents out of the USA.

Well I certainly hope that is what will happen. Family values and all you know. The problem is that the anchor would still hold citizenship in this country and could sponsor their parents to come back here after the anchor turns 18. All we can do at this point is to do as much damage control as possible by getting the birthright citizenship amendment re-interpreted for the future. I wish we could do more than that but I am not optimistic about it happening.

I could live with that if an end was put to any future anchor babies, and the sponsorship was limited to just parents, no brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, etc.
