That's true. All the more reason for the remaining factory jobs in the U.S. should be filled only by people who are here legally.

Police can obtain all the information they need from you from your licence. The magnetic strip on the back contains everything about you, and it is not able to be forged.

First clue somebody might be illegal -- they have a fake driver's license they bought from a macadero on the corner...

No it doesn't, did you have to prove citizenship to get it?

Here's hoping TX and NM are right behind them with a similar law since the fed is to busy giving handouts to those who don't want to work.
It would be nice to see the border states, create a united front, but at this point, that may be too much to ask.

From what he said this morning he is not pro illegal but neither does he go along with the AZ bill. I didn't listen long enough to hear if he had a 'solution' though. I'm sure he'll be on the news enough to find out though.

Edit to add...Richardson is on Larry King right now. His solution is send the National Guard, etc..

He's so torn.

On one hand he wants to encourage unlimited immigration into his state and he's worked hard to accomplish that but he knows full well that the violence is spilling over but also how does he explain to unemployed New Mexicans that not only does all of Mexico and Central America have a right to come and live there and compete for jobs, but that they will be paying much higher taxes to provide them everything they need or want?
