Corporations benefit from the cheap labor supplied by illegal immigrants, from the poultry industry, farming industry, to the construction industry. Until they are ready to give up this cheap labor, illegal immigrants will continue to stay. What corporate America wants, corporate America gets. The politicians are in the pockets. Complain all you want, it's not changing anything. You are not going to get in the way of profits, that's the way the cookie crumbles. So get used to your new neighbors.

We know that the feds could put a stop to the abuse by the employers but they won't so the states will have to implement other ways to discourage illegal aliens from remaing here. One of those ways is internal enforcement like Arizona is implementing.

Gee, you sound so flippant with your remark "so get used to your new neighbors" almost as if you are enjoying this illegal alien mess we are in or are an advocate for illegal aliens. Would I be wrong?

Chuckle, and then chuckle again...the higher they are the harder they fall...This poster is clueless...well, desperate I should say. Hang in there little buddy, we'll catch you when it all falls down, if you're American. Even then, after we stop your ignorance, we'll dust you off, pat your ass and send you merrily on your way. No thanks needed, it's just the American way.

I'm not falling for your "let's all give up" dogma. Yes, it's true the business community is the only reason we have 15 million illegals in this country. We can't even get E-Verify to become mandatory. WTF is that, considering it is a agreed upon factual assumption that we have millions of illegal workers in this country. Millions of people stealing identities and crushing our health-care system and we can't even get a simple system for employers to have to check the legality of their employees. I suppose the central nation advocating glogalism would be the last to succomb from grass-roots nationalism and it's negative effects on their ultimate goals. People underestimate the average American. Now we need to get smart like the U.K. and just admit we're full and can't take anymore. I'm sure Airlines would like to book more people on their flights than they have seats as they would make more money, but they can't. If the airplane can only hold 200 people and the 201st person is a Guatemalan, does that mean the airline is racist for not letting him/her on. Even if this guys mother is on her deathbed and they really could just let him sit with the flight-attendants. But no they don't. Why? Because it's illegal and dangerous. 50 million more immigrants in this country is dangerous for the environment and illegal ones are just that. GET IT!!!!

Do you think corporation care about what is dangerous? All they care about is profits, money talks and you know what walks. They have 1,000 more times influence than you or or. Politicians are in their pockets. They'll pass laws to make it seem like things are going to change, but they won't. Too much money is at stake.

Many "Corporations" do background searches on employees when they are hired. Businesses are required to report ALL NEW HIRES or rehired employees with e-verify or "New Hire Reporting" (which is FEDERAL & State law)...

If you actually read SB1070, you will know about the economic develop incentive for employers who are utilizing e-verify, plus there are several pages about companies or businesses who unintentionally OR intentionally hire illegal workers, etc...

It's very clear, there isn't any "interpretation" of what is written in SB1070.
