I hope Texas can passing some tough laws like Oklahoma did.
However the Demographics of Texas might make it hard to do so.
what tough laws does Texas need to pass? People movement is always going to happen. What laws are needed? Blacks cant move out of their old neighborhoods? Hispanics cant buy cheaper homes?

They need to pass a law like Arizona did and that will curb the phenomenol growth of hispanics via illegal immigration which is causing this black flight. Blacks have been run out of their neighborhoods by the presence of illegal hispanics all over the country for some time now and is responsible for much of the white flight also.

No where in the artical did the authors say illegal immigration caused "black flight" in Dallas. I read a whole host of causes...didnt you?

Of course in order to be PC they are going to say just Hispanics, period. If they really wanted to be honest they would attribute the Hispanic growth to mostly illegal immigration which is what it is really all about.

yes it talks about housing also, but, it is also talking about people moving for the betterment of their families and children. Not because of racial prejudiced, such as what white flight was about.

•As Dallas ISD educates a growing number of Hispanic students, many of whom are poor and learning English, some black parents say the district no longer focuses on their children.

Poor and learning English. Learning English? If nothing screams Illegal Alien Parents like that line I don't know what does.

Many black parents are concerned about the attention and money spent bringing native Spanish-speakers up to speed. Some say their children are ignored.

"Nothing is geared towards us; it's all geared towards the Hispanics," said Shirley Daniels, spokeswoman for the Black Coalition to Maximize Education, a civil rights group and plaintiff in DISD's federal desegregation case, which lasted from 1970 to 2003".
she needs to tell this to Rev Al and Jesse jackson. I also think that this is unfair and I am mexican-american. Blacks were born here (citizens) and should receive higher priority than the illegals or children of illegals.
