thanx for any info for this spoiled, clueless californian
Josh answered pretty well, but regarding the contacts? No, they dont freeze. My wife wears them and has never had a problem, even on the coldest nights. You can wear a ski mask if you want, but unless youre outside for an extended period of time, its not necessary. We had the coldest temps ever out here in teh 'burbs this winter and I managed to be outside for about 20 minutes changing a car battery. Was it cold? Colder than you can imagine. But lucky for us, that kind of weather doesnt last long--maybe a day or two at most. Its colder than anything youll get in CA (minus high up in the mountains), so be prepared.

On topic agian... the last 3 days have been cloudless and gorgeous. A bit windy on Friday, but still gorgeous. Deep blue skies, blooming flowers, warm sunshine. Tomorrow is supposed to rain a bit, then back into the 60s by Tues and Wed.

After the rain on Monday and most of Tuesday, it was nice to see some sun last night (killer sunset, too). Did anyone see the cloud formations right before they moved out of the area? Wow! Ill try and get some pics up later on (the wife is having surgery today) if I get the chance. Amazing clouds last night. Right now its cloudless and quite nice out, should reach 60 today, 70s by Friday and Saturday.

Was gorgeous Thursday and Friday, mostly sunny all day. Highs in the lower 80s yesterday, but a bit breezy. A good mix of sun and clouds today on Saturday, right now its 76 degrees.
