1. I am moving to Bloomington, IN and would appreciate information on apartment rentals.

2. Is anybody interested in subleasing an apartment on the South side of Indy till the middle of April?

Thanks.

Try looking on the west side of Bloomington for apartments. The further west, the better. Stay as far away from campus as possible because a lot of college kids can be pretty disruptive. I would personally avoid anything on the south and east sides of town unless you like a lot of noise....some people do.

indylife, Why are you moving to B-ton? Will you be working here, taking classes, working in Indy? All of that will help you determine where to live. I'm more familiar with the complexes that show up in the local police reports because of criminal activity. They get a reputation.

Be prepared to pay higher rent in B-ton. B-ton has one of the most expensive rental markets in the state.

I will be working in B-ton, starting soon. (I am changing jobs. Currently, I work in downtown Indy.)

Currently, I live on the south side of Indy.

Till I get an apartment in B-ton, I will be driving everyday from the south side of Indy to B-ton. I don't look forward to it, given the weather we are having.

This has been a hard winter. Redroses gave some good info and when looking for an apartment, just for your information
in comparison to Indy and other larger cities, many apartments in B-ton will charge for water, sewer and trash.
