Well, now, 5 years later after this post was first written, you will see that Honda didn't do anything for the surrounding counties besides put other factories/business out of work. And Honda didn’t even hire any of the local residents as they "promised". Basically Honda was really smart with lying to us just to use and take away our farmland. Hmm…must of received their training in business ethics from politicians....

Kinda hard to do anything when you can't grow. If we would have allowed for a true free market, Government Motors (a/k/a GM) and Chrysler would have went belly up. Other companies like Nissan, Ford, Subaru, and Honda would have made some inroads on the customer base of those companies.

Also, do you know how many workers work at that plant? How many live in Greensburg or the surrounding area? Are these people purposely driving into Shelby County for lunch to avoid paying taxes in Decatur Co.? I can't believe Honda hasn't been a positive more than a negative.
