My hubby was in Bloomington yesterday. He said he went to go eat at Macri's and it was gone! What happened to Macri's? and when?
We're 1990 grads so we've known Macri's forever. Bummer...

Macri's closed about a 1.5 years ago. Kroger wanted to expand into the space, and Macri's could not come to an agreement on their lease. It was kind of sudden. Macri's choose not to reopen in a new location.

Everything's closing up in Bloomington. I heard G.E. has had major lay-offs. RCA is long-gone. Local shops just shut-down over night, too. See what I mean? Bloomington is NOT the place to be.

We lost 4 good restaurants in 3 years, including MCL, Macri's Encore, and City Grille. The property taxes are too high for anything to thrive here. Unemployment is at 20,000 in the tri-county region.
