So judging from my previous thread, no one has moved from Phoenix to Indy.....no prob.....currently my wife spends anywhere from 45 mins to an hour to go 25 miles in the morning to get to work....so shes used to that......if we lived in Carmel, Zionsville, what would be the avg commute time to the airport? 45 to an hour is no big deal seeing as it takes about 2 hours to get from the most eastern part of Phx to the most western part with no traffic.....we're no strangers to traffic......just wantin' to know how bad it is....can't be bad as here i'd think......

Well, I just drove from 10th to 86th Street and it was 20+ minutes up Meridian Street in the middle of the day with no traffic/construction/accidents. The most delays were lights downtown. Pretty much the fastest since I would have added many miles to use Keystone or the Interstate.

Well if you're looking at the Northern Burbs and commuting to the airport, you're right to be looking at Zionsville and the west side of Carmel. I would say the commute during rush hour will probably be anywhere from 25-40 minutes depending on traffic and if your wife speeds a lot.

It will be much quicker once 465 west is finished. Lots of construction around zionsville area to airport on 465 right now. When it is not rush hour.... It takes me less than 45 mins from mid carmel area to make it to airport. 10 mins of that is to get to 465.
