I have 4 yahoo accounts and have had them for years without any issues at all.

I, too, had a Yahoo mail account for years and it got 'hacked' and then ALL of my contacts YAHOO email accounts got hacked. Yahoo has little or NONE security on it's mail server and I'd not put anything much that is important in any account/email AGAIN...EVER....esp anything to do with banking.
I was ONLY 'saved' because my name was not put on my Yahoo mail account literally, but phonetically. I do this now with all of my email accounts, including my work accounts.
