I just watched "What's Up Doc?" from 1971 and the quality was great! It wasn't on Hulu though. Maybe try a better service than Hulu?

It's not a movie... It's a TV show.

I just wish they had this on Netflix like they used and and also Law and Order SVU. That's the only thing I like about Hulu. The quality is good. I have only been noticing the video quality problem is for SD quality that is worse than the original video quality of these shows and movies for some reason. Is it because these companies don't keep the original files or is there a problem with uploading or file transferring? When I uploaded videos on youtube, that took away from the video quality. For HD videos maybe it's not that noticeable because the original quality is excellent.

Watching EP 1 now.

OK it's not great, especially the audio, but it's certainly more then watchable.

I like the show. I like good video quality. It is absolutely watchable. Sounds like someone got a little too used to HD. :P

unlikely, I tried many devices, it sounds like you don't care about video quality, even hulu admitted it's bad quality when they tested it on their side

Oh I do. Not enough to call Hulu over it.
I just upgraded my projector to HD.
But I understand old a-- TV shows just aren't going to look amazing on today's equipment. And I'm fine with that.
