Please bear with me. This may be a problem on my sickly computer but wanted
to mention it. When I am typing, there seems to be no end to a line. In other words

the sentences do not round off onto the next line when they reach the end of the screen.
When I reach the right side of the screen, I have to stop and press Enter to make my
sentence drop down to a new left. I hope that makes sense. Any ideas? It is not
happening anywhere else that I write in such as Gmail letters.

Check your settings and text formatting. Looks like you are using Plain Text Mode.

Go to your Gmail
Click on "Compose"
On the bottom of this window you will see three vertical dots
Click on them, popup will show with several options
Make sure the "Plain text" mode is NOT checked.

Try it and report back.

She said it's NOT happening in Gmail where she writes 'letters'. (I am not making fun of you, I think it's actually cute as hell you call them letters )

I take it to mean this is happening like here on C-D when you type posts?

It's all right. Might as well call them letters since no one writes the real letters any more.
And I promise you that what I and my friends write do become "letters", meaning long

epistles. <G>

Elnina, none of the list are checked. None at all. "Label" has an angled icon that

stands for an arrow or extension of titles but it yields no information. Should something

be checked? And, right, it is not happening in Gmail. But Google would never mess up its

own site. Would it? <G>

Are you using notepad? If so, click at the top on format and select "word wrap."

I do not think I am using Note Pad but I shall watch for "Word Wrap". Thank you.

Actually, I'd think word wrapping would come naturally wherever we post. So, once
again, the problem is likely in this new computer. Something else for me to deal with. If

it is not happening to anyone else, the issue is my setup. That's what I wanted to know.

Not really but I have not been working at it. Other things holding my attention now. End of month stuff.

Hmm? As I typed that the necessary wraparound took place. Maybe the Geek professional fixed it. He fixed a lot of things and explained about pages and windows being out of proportion which spread the data far and wide. All over my head, of course but things are now running smoothly..

Thanks for your efforts.. Much appreciated. Hazel
