Does anyone have a url for skype payments that can be trusted.
I searched the other day and found many how to pay skype urls but NONE of them actually gave you the internet link to a payment page using credit card. Or maybe It didn't go keep enough in their convoluted web site links that tell you little or nothing.
Last time I made a CC payment a few years ago, they cheated me out of small amounts by charging me under a free trial offer that keep recharging such that my bank had to step in and stop their thievery.
So I ask again anyone know of a safe, effective and easy way to buy skype credits by CC?
One that is not some hacker trying to rip you off and one that you have a source to complain about
dishonest charges if they occur?
Problem with America is if a big corp. like microsoft cheats you the average joe can do nothing about it. Except whine here on the net.
I don't understand either. Skype is long past the "best by" date. I had an account for a while for the phone number, and possibility of teleconference, but google voice is free, and there are any number of teleconference aps for free.
What I have found with a lot of legacy subscription services is that as the customer base starts to fall off, prices increase and/or service is reduced. Skype falls in that category.
Well thanks for the url, I'll check it out, but I don't have my hopes up.
As I said in the OP, I did make payments a couple years ago a site that looked like a legit
skype payment site. As I said in the OP, they ripped me off charging me recurring under what was they said was a 30 free trial. They LIED and began charging me immediately. And recurring every month even though I was not using SKype. This is typical of many internet sites offering "free" trials, it happens alot judging from complaints on the various review sites. As for google I think you need a U.S. phone number for that service mentioned. I have yet to find a reliable, trustworthy, not lying, international phone service and I have looked. There are serious problems with the two or three I checked by research and emailing them. This is not for some dating site but involves banking so I have be sure 1) it works 2) it's reliable 3) it's not easily hacker or spied on 4) it doesn't try to cheat you.
Worth repeating: If Microsoft rips you off, do you think you have recourse? Doubtful. And who wants to go through the trouble with more calls to your bank to get this petty thieves charges off your card? One solution I guess is prepaid throw away CC, not available where I am, or I don't think it is.
Now IF I was a rich attorney, I could start a class action lawsuit against MS, another exercise in peeing up a rope.

You know the rule in most supermarkets now that I have personally had applied in several cities?
If the price of an item listed on the shelf is LOWER than the price at the register, you get that one item FREE. I've gotten several items free from that rule, including a case of beer which at the time was like 5 bucks. That was the result of a class action lawsuit whereby stores were making millions by chiseling the price up at the register. Class action lawsuits are the only way to reign in dishonest large corporations.
