I am more of a long-term investor. It is possible that you could hit it big, but I think it would be foolish.

Sirrius is a bad comparison. Sirrius doesn't have a lot of natural competitors - XM radio in cars....on the other hand...Blockbuster is competing against Cable TV with movies on demand...Netflix...Hulu, and many other companies with less overhead and more convenience.

I'd buy a strong blue chip company when the market tanks a bit and reinvest the dividends monitoring the health of the company and dividend now and then.
