i put a fair amount of dollars in . 3 or 4% in gains does it and these are stocks that tend to roll back so i just repeat . made a few thousand the last few months with exxon just playing around with their cycle . . had i not taken these quick profits in these stocks they vanish in a day or so . i made game out of it , my goal is to cover them with quick trades .
this is only my fun money and has nothing to do with how i invest my portfolio that i actually live off of .
i tend to use TLT ,GLD ,XOM AND KMI rotating around who got hit unusually hard in a trading session .
they usually snap back in a day or two at least partially which is enough for some quick profits .
except for a mall gld loss when it moved ginst me everything so far has been positive

This is interesting!!!
I mean what's the fee??
For instance you buy an Exxon share ,now $74, can you profit with 3-5% moves
I paid under $70 for Exxon in August. We had a nice bounce wish I would've sold back then when oil climbed back up!
There is a ton of volitility in the markets I'd be careful buying and selling. It's all about luck doing that. Just a hunch we'll see oil go lower in 2016 so you have plenty of opportunity to get in. The big sell off on Friday was due to declining demand and concerns entering a global recession.
I may cry uncle here shortly and sell everything oil related. Doesn't look like it's going to improve at all for at least the next 12-18 months, if anything.
Thing is, I have a really bad habit of selling at the very bottom.
