I'm down about 8% in my ARK funds. ARK comprises .3% of my portfolio. Yes less than 1/3 of 1%. I think I'm gonna be okay!

ARK will be more volatile than the overall market because of the names they are in and when the bulls are leading the charge again, I imagine ARK will be outperforming the overall market. Time will tell though.

I'm fully prepared for ARK volatility, which is why it's such a tiny part of my overall portfolio. When the funds drop down 20%+ I'll add to my positions, a little at a time.

The ark funds are ranked very well in Morningstar for 1/3/5 year compared to their peer group but looking at the performance last year makes me believe although I haven’t done any math on it that the 3/5 year ranks were probably helped dramatically by last years performance and without the moonshot year they may be more average in nature

When the top stocks in ARK have charts that look pretty good, I'll enter again. Right now they look a bit scary, I just scanned through them, but I'm going to do a more thorough look later tonight. There could be a massive recovery, but many have broken down short-term. This shouldn't concern someone who is good at buy and hold for the long-term.

YTD I'm up 8.96% overall (all accounts including trading), which I'm still happy about, but I'm definitely off my highs. This week and last week were bad.

I have 10% of our long term investments in ARK funds. We have 30 years to retirement so the movement of them does not scare me at this time.

Hey bmw, you'd like this video. He goes over charts and has some interesting perspective.

Ark Invest was very active with trades yesterday (more than usual). Looks like she's rotating away from "value" tech and into high growth tech even more than she already was before. Could either lead to an epic comeback or could completely blow up in her face. She was selling holdings like AMZN, AAPL, BABA, GOOGL, and CRM and buying things like TSLA, SQ, TDOC, FATE, and SHOP.

Buying more ARKK guys!

I got left off the bus last time with just 20% invested on my non-401K account. Targeting this to be 1/3 of that portfolio this year.. Bring that bus back here.

If you got in at early premarket today, it was available at the same price as it closed at the end of last year. All YTD gains were wiped so for a bottom fisher I think it was a good entry. Especially when you consider it was up ~20% YTD just a couple weeks ago.
