For what it’s worth, finviz is the best public one I’ve found. The private one I use is wayyy stronger still.

My choices are basically a continuation of last year. I wasn’t planning to enter the game, but was told I needed to defend my title. I haven’t won 2023 yet, but it’s looking good.

Some of us already recognize this, and invest accordingly in our "real" lives. Less than 10% of my investments are outside of index-funds.

That said, for this year's game, please sign me up for equal percentages (25% each) for NOC, GM, MLI, and LMT.

No problemo

Thanks for managing this again, Tom.

My picks, although I may switch out HBAN before the end of the year, 20% for each:

CPA (NYSE) Copa Holdings S.A. - One of the two stocks I'm picking due to good fundamentals and valuations, and is expected to rise a decent amount in price. Dividend yield 3.1%.

GERN (Nasdaq) Geron Corporation - Biotech due for PDUFA decision June 16th, 2024.

HBAN (Nasdaq) Huntington Bank - Expecting it to rise back up to $18-19/share. Currently at 12.66. Dividend yield 4.9%.

OPTN (Nasdaq) OptiNose - Biotech due for PDUFA decision March 16th, 2024.

PTEN (Nasdaq) Patterson-UTI Energy - Good fundamentals and valuations, plus median price target looks good on this. Dividend yield 2.93%.

My picks:

BCC - 20% (timber)
FCX - 20% (copper)
USLM - 20% (limestone)
MA - 20% (credit card)
GGG - 20% (fluid handling)

I expect 2024 will likely be a solid year, but I wanted to stay away from high-tech or speculative. I try to make these equities I am actually invested in or have at one point been invested in, and I just don't touch speculative too often in real life. My goal is to beat the S&P 500 by focusing on broad and positive trends in development and construction. My one non-materials related stock, Mastercard, is just a solid performer.

Thank you SO much for continuing to do this! It really helps us all understand different schools of thought about stock prospects.

I'll play....for laughs...

* $20,000 UNG (again this year) - natural gas is at the bottom now, nowhere to go but up. Seemingly.

* $20,000 IEP - a gamble

* $20,000 ZS - time to try some tech - cybersecurity is huge now. Would have been a great buy a year ago.

* $20,000 NVDA. The king

* $20,000 CI - need something conservative here, timing is everything, and it was $40 cheaper recently, but I'll still take it.
