Fund my retirement, yeah, that's what its all about. Trying to find companies that will do that, rather than retire my funds.

Anyone looking at or own BYD? Symbols are BYDDF.PK (regular H class shares) or BYDDY.PK (ADR eqivilent to 10 H shares). They seem to be on the cutting edge of rechargable electric batteries, solar technology, and electric cars (check out the E6, coming to America soon). They also have an electronics division, and have just announced a joint venture with Daimer to build electric cars. Oh, and Berkshire Hathaway owns 10% of the company. If it's good enough for Warren, I think it's good enough for me. HUGE potential. Thoughts anyone? TIA!

I like Ford because I think they have a product line worldwide that has wide appeal.

I think that infrastructure companies have already had price increases due to the speculation that they would get federal money for projects. Unless, of course, you're talking about green energy.

In that case, GE is a good bet, but won't see huge returns.
I like ford too, however we missed the mark, should have did it one year ago.

J & J or P & G. The only ones to really hold on for the next 3 years.

OK, here's my one for March, PLXT. It closed @ $5.90 on Friday up 10% on the day...the kicker?? The volume was 4 times normal average!! It triggered a volume surge alert on my platform so I got in at $5.50 and hold. Now, I know nothing about the company and don't care, it's purely a momomentum play. My charts say she sees $7-$8 by month end, we'll see
