Hello there
Nobody is giving me the +ve reaction when I tell them I'm moving to Iowa, I'm already scared tho. I'm sure I wouldn't know how bad is your winter unless I'm there.
I'm starting spring semester and still looking for a place to rent. My classes will be close to downtown and I don't drive. Knowing you guys have a harsh winter, I'm not sure if its going to be alright living with the public transportation for a while, please advice.
If any one can recommend a good place to rent; studio or 1 bedroom apartment within the range of less than $450 including utilities and internet. And any tips on surviving my 1st winter in cedar rapids, PLEASE :S

I don't know much about Cedar Rapids so I could be wrong, but $450 sounds a little low for rent with utilities and internet. Does the school you're going to have dorms? Sounds like that might be your best bet for now.
