Mississippians tend to be helpful people. Although I'm a recent transplant it appears to be contagious. Just keep an open mind.
Mississippi honestly could be the best place in the world for you or it could be the worst.
It's up to you what you want and what you make out of it. A few have moved here and hated it. Perhaps the job market wasn't right for them.
They didn't feel like their neighbors gave them enough love
Those are usually the two biggest complaints I hear here. Although I've never personally had any problems with anyone in Mississippi.

Your right about Mississpians being very helpful NWS. I'm not from the south, but I've traveled to south a number of times within the past few years. My travels to the south has given me a different perspective on life. It has allowed me to appreciate the little things in life and be more cognizant on what's truly important in life. Sometimes we get so caught up with making a life a race by setting time boundaries on ourselves. Anyway, I feel like I'm being drawn to the south were I will be able to live my life freely and fully.
