New restaurant open in Ponte Vedra Beach - where the old Twisted Martini was!

I had the Chicken Vindaloo and although not bad, it was nothing better then I could have made myself at home- and I am not a chef , nor do I play one on t.v. The service, though pleasant, was completely uninformed about anything on the menu. Ask him anything about the food and he will go and ask the kitchen to get an answer. I should have just got the cell phone number of the chefs ( there are apparently several) and text messaged them to get any answers and saved some time. The chicken was a bit rubbery, and the flavors not bad, but not any better then a curry sauce out of jar from Target. The best part was the Apple Crumb Cake for dessert. Not dry at all, very moist and very tasty. I will go again as I am hoping for a better trained staff in the future ( you HAVE to have your wait staff try the food and know the food. This waiter had not tried anything on the menu!) and a dinner as ambitious as the style of the restaurant suggests.
