I will be moving to Jacksonville in the Spring. I am currently a Home Health Aide. I also have a CNA license. Can anyone tell me if I would be able to get a job in this field. Any help would be appreciated.

There's many places in Jacksonville to work as a CNA, or HHA. Americare is a good company, there's others in this list. Not sure where you'll be living, since working home care you drive all over the city.

Jacksonville is a huge medical town, what with Mayo, Shands, the multiple Baptist hospitals, etc. The medical field is probably at this point the easiest one to break into here. You shouldn't have any problem finding an opening.

I don't know what kind of CNA work you want to do. But if you're interested in skilled nursing homes - River Garden in Mandarin is the best in the metro area - probably the best in the state. It trains its own CNAs - but also hires from "outside". Robyn
