Yeah AB looked great! Places seem to be priced higher there than the other beach areas. Maybe I'll find something reasonable there in the next 4 months. Looks like there are major buyer deals all around Jacksonville.

It's slightly more than other areas down there because AB is a good place to live.

Usually the case I guess. How are the schools around AB? We won't need to worry for years but we always buy in a good school district so when we relocate again it helps the house sell faster.

Just wanted to say congrats on your upcoming move. I've come to like Jacksonville quite a bit.

Not yet. We're planning a possible move there for retirement and will be visiting as much as possible in the next year or so. We're trying to decide between three cities, but I must admit NE Florida wins in many categories. It has a lot of appeal, especially near the beaches. The big fear factor for us is the insurance issue, since we would have to give up USAA. For many people, though, this is not a concern.

Atlantic Beach would be a great fit for you. A little more excitement and more things to do than Amelia.

Logistics of your daily commute would be the only question.
