fwiw Springfield 4 years ago was pretty different from how it is now. To me, the tipping point was about 2 years ago, after Social Grounds Coffee Shop, Hyperion Brewery, and Crispy's all opened.

Porchfest, pop up park, location to downtown an Sports arenas, Historic Homes, multiple breweries within walking/golf cart distance. Great people. October fest, St Patrick’s day block parties, First Fridays, Porches
