Close to the beach, maybe some minor damage to soffits or rooflines, but that can happen to any home in Florida during a hurricane even well inland.

On the beach, yes, the erosion has some homes very close to being washed out to sea, and is a big battle in St. Johns County right now trying to get them to fix it.

If you want to be on the ocean, Jax, Neptune and Atlantic Beach are better choices as they have completely revitalized the beaches along with rebuilding the dunes that protect them.

You live in Florida. It matters not with hurricanes, year to year. THAT is what insurance is for. Best of luck to ya.
