I'm sure she wasn't....but I'm also sure they're pretty used to non-Amish poking fun at them.

Boy, do I miss dinners...real ones, and I know you can appreciate that, being from up there.

....and the only diners I can think of in Jax are the Metro Diners, which are reconstructions.

We live in PA and have a weekend Amish farmers market about a mile from our house where we go often. We buy everything from baked goods to produce, meats, salads, breads, etc. We're moving to Nocatee in Aug. I know there is a farmers market in Nacotee and also Saint Augustine. I was hoping they would carry similar products. Anyone experienced those farmers markets? How are they? Does it really make a difference that they are not Amish? My in-laws lived in Sarasota for years and I know you can get Amish products there.

Take a look at this link (not a good endorsement for Nocatee's FM):

Ugh, well that certainly doesn't give a good review of the Nocatee one. We'll give it a try and decide for ourselves. Would have been great to have one so close. I have read some good reviews on the St Aug one. Definitely plan to head down there too. Old City Farmers Market « Every Saturday At The St. Augustine Amphitheater
