Well, as of yesterday the background checking is to commence.
As for the offer letter, the hiring manager intervened to by pass that as the HR person is on vacation! So now here we go with the BC.
As for the drug screen? Time will tell and I'm not holding my breath.
I am in week 5 since my face to face. This is going to be the longest drawn out process I've ever been involved in. Hopefully I will start before Labor Day!

Hang in there, the job I have now the entire process was almost 4 months
1. Don't have to worry about funding at 6/30 so I can still have a job
2. Great supervisor
3. My own office
4. Low stress
5. Great Health Benefits
6. 9am to 5pm shift
and you get to post on C-D.
I am surprised companies allow for this long drawn out process. It's just plain nuts to take months to go from collecting resumes to having the interviews and then finally going through the checks and the offer portion.

Yeah I couldn't post on CD at my last job because it was too fast pace
Who knows.......because they can? 64k question. Maybe we are all just be punked LOL.
That is the problem. Do employers realize this longer process is taxing on potential employees?
