Great example.
Another one is :
Employee is eyeballs deep with credit debt. Employee embezzles to make payments.
Apparently you do not regularly read or watch business news because if you did you would know that roughly 90% of those who embezzle from companies are corporate executives.

If we change embezzle with shrinkage, I can agree with that statement. Embezzlement and shrinkage are two types of internal theft in companies.

They cannot legally re-age the debt just by buying it. That's a violation of the Fair Credit Act. Sue them.
Absolutely true, and it may not be necessary to go that far. File a protest of the account re-aging every time it occurs. I've personally had bad credit wiped off of my credit report doing this. And never, ever pay an unsecured bad debt that is aging; it only resets the clock (and gets the sharks in the water excited).
So basically you're labeled a thief based soley upon your credit score. How understanding of employers. I mean its not like theres been a recession and people have trouble paying their bills.

not at all ---you are labeled a person with poor credit and not the best pick for a hire. not that good with money issues. if you dont handle your money stuff well-- does he want you to handle his?
when you apply for a job you are hiring yourself out as a paid servant. you dont want irresponsible unreliable servants.

Not labeled a thief at all... just someone with a bad credit score.
When competition for certain jobs is so fierce, anyone that does not measure up for ANY reason becomes less desirable.
A bad credit score is just one of those reasons.

Bad credit doesnt mean you cant handle your money well it means some people simply arent financially capable of making a payment (ex. Unemployment). Now if its credit debt well....
