What is the longest amount of time you got a rejection letter?

Probably 4 months or so. Usually when I don't even remember applying to the job. I figured they are just closing out all open applications on the system.

Back in 1988 I was fired from K-Mart and the reason given was "spending too much time helping customers". Target later wanted to promote me for the same thing K-Mart fired me for. Gave me a warm feeling when that K-Mart was one of the many to close their doors.
