What is the worse recruiting agency in your opinion? For me it would have to Michael Page, twice they listed a salary that was completely different (lower) when I spoke to them. They seem to be the click bait pros. The first instance I let it slide but I had them and another agency call me about the same job, and again theirs was inflated compared to the other agency. I avoid 3rd party recruiters like the plague for this reason.

And another question, when they ask you to come in for an interview or to meet have any of you actually done this and it lead to a job offer? Once they ask this I tell them I am no longer interested. I feel it's a waste of time and part of a quota they are trying to reach.

Solomon Page. They contacted me through 6 recruiters and each time I informed them I was working with someone already, they'd either drop off or call me AGAIN under a new name/face. My latest bout a week ago was when a recruiter I was already working with called and said he saw my resume on Monster - he had forgotten who I was! Terrible, terrible group.

Aerotek. They never call you back, the girl completely disregarded my resume and didn't ask about unlisted skills or places that I've worked. She wrongly assumed I had no medical or health related knowledge which was completely inaccurate as I volunteered for around 6 years at a nursing and rehabilitation center, and have family who even worked there and other family members who worked at hospitals. They are really unprofessional and misguided, but not as bad as Solomon Page.

I've met with a few recruiters which have led to jobs externally, but after you don't want to take 12$/hr, the pickings are slim. I know of someone who was asked to take a job internally, showed up to an additional interview with that and he didn't end up with a job. Waste of time. Usually, recruiters are fishing in every pool trying to meet their bottom line and trying to get more commission money/bonus money.

The LaSalle Network. They lured me in by lying to me about having a direct hire opportunity. I get there and mysteriously there is no mention of said opportunity while proceeding to go through their soft interview BS promising to get me a job for sure and then I left never to hear from them again. BTW I drove 25 miles each way in nasty traffic on a Friday afternoon to get to that BS interview. F them. I'd be sure any company I work for never does business with them.

This is one of them that asked me to come in and I refused. Looks like I would have wasted my time, what idiots.
