Tailor your resume for each position you are applying for. Include your past experiences and education, but focus on letting the company you are applying to know how you would help them.
Use your resume as a sales brochure to sell yourself and what you can do for them instead of just a list of past work experiences and education.
They don't care about your hobbies and likes or dislikes. What an HR rep looking at hundreds of resumes every week wants to know is 'how can this person help the company?' The answer to this question has to come across strong on your resume since it probably will only be glanced at for about 5 seconds. The HR rep doesn't care that you have a Master's in Management, but rather how a Master's in Management makes you useful to them. HR reps don't care that you worked for another IT company, but rather how that experience will be useful to the company.
Get the HR rep interested in what you can do, specifically, for the company and the position being applied for and you will get an interview offer. The resume is a sales brochure and it's sole purpose is to 'sell' a potential employer into offering you an interview over dozens, hundreds, or thousands of other applicants.
I'd suggest finding a specific job your interested in, then working it backwards. Look at the job description, then find whatever they are looking for in SOMETHING you've done in the past. I resume writing service i used did this very well, focusing on appealing to specific jobs as opposed to a generalized resume. Vision-analytics if your interested
