I used to rent a house in Santa Fe Hills, 3 BR with attached garage...it was okay, but quite tucked away and isolated in feel.

^ 91st and Main. That could be what was our first home! We bought a home there and lived there for about six years. Great starter home area.

Thanks again for the suggestions.
Hey kcmo, one thing that struck me when looking at the house at 91st and Main was how steep the hill was around there. My fiance had concerns about flooding, and I had concerns about ice and snow. In your experience there, how was snow removal? Was the area prone to flooding and "I guess I'm not going anywhere today except sliding to the bottom of this hill" ice and snow?

As Spring starts to...spring into action (?), I've been seeing more nice KCMO houses pop onto the market in the areas of the city I've been eyeing, as well as the Northland. It's so exciting to see such beautiful houses up for sale. Even the gorgeous Tudor-style manor houses cost way less than I expected (although still a bit high for me).

-T.
