So what's the deal with Excelsior Springs?

Leavenworth has a lot of roaming youth threatening adults, drug activity the cops ignore, vastly inflated utility prices and lots of housing even abandoned by the military personnel due to the gang show in the area. The MILITARY leave Leavenworth quickly if they get harassed by groups of local youth which you need to ignore and not even answer, get confrontational and you can be run out in a few days. Is okay if you have house full of people but people alone usually abandon the place when you find out the local males won't leave you alone living near there and even some older males are bothered living alone. Lots of empty apartments are the statement - 'avoid this area'...Plattes City and Atchison were better choice.

So we decided to pull the trigger and move home this year.

We ended up not looking in Excelsior Springs as hubby works from home and internet service out there isn't spectacular.

We are under contract for a house in Gladstone, near Hobby Lobby at NE 64th & Antioch.

Damn, I can't wait to come home.
