Wonderful pics. Nichols Hall (the first one) brings back memories for me... I did a student internship
at KSDB-FM there in 1962. It burned completely a few years later (all but the eternal stone
walls) and you can still see the signs of fire in your picture, 40 years later.

Dickens looks exactly the same now as it did back then, even the window air conditioners.

Do you by chance have a picture of Holton Hall?

Agreed. Western Kansas isnt much to look at but if you have the right set of eyes you find beauty almost anywhere. For example, Wichita is just plain awful but that shot of Keeper of the Plains is fantastic.

Well, I'm glad it is greening up nicely out there. That area around Cheyenne county is nice, but I like the area where my relatives ranch is further east in the Smoky Hills. I am a fan of the large buttes.
