Glad to here you Folks are making it, Sheri keeps me somewhat apprised of things she sees on FB. I don't do the FB thing!

As for the birds, you're welcome to as many as wish to relocate. I'm not quite sure if they're hanging out here because we are spoiling them, OR if they feel they owe me loyalty after my hip debacle!! lol

Happy Thanksgiving 2019 from the Bluegrass!

Fighting tryptophan drowsies after a sumptuous dinner with long-time friends.

Blame any typos on the turkey!

Pretty different from last year, but I enjoyed my solo dinner of ham, sweet potato casserole, green beans, wild rice, cornbread, and cherry cobbler, which capped off my dinner a couple of hours later in order to have enough room for it!

I plan to repeat most of the menu for Christmas dinner (subbing turkey for ham, adding Beaumont Inn corn pudding and candied apples, switching to crescent rolls instead of cornbread, and coconut cake and peppermint ice- cream instead of cherry cobbler for dessert. Need to look up my family's wine jelly recipe, if I get ambitious. It's great with boiled custard.

I hope everyone had as good a dinner as I was blessed to enjoy yesterday, and is making the most of the long weekend, before the snow flies next week!
