I'm gonna put some ribs in the smoker & hang out by the pool most of the day. I may take a little motorcycle ride early in the morning. I'm kinda hoping my two sons will drive up & surprise me but they live about 4 hours away. The youngest son just went to work for the oldest at his new business and money is tight. I've always told 'em that I've got the gas covered whenever they come to visit. Good kids, totally different, but I am proud of them.

Too bad my Dad isn't still around. He left a big footprint for me to try to fill.

Dig~

Missy, don't do much smoling. When I BBQ I use the old Heinz and honey recipe (2 parts Heinz 57 to one part honey). Mighty tasty! Just going to buy some good W. Ky. BBQ this trip. My problem is what to get my 85 yr old dad who has just about everything he needs! He loves shrimp so I'm stopping at Walmart and getting some so he can snack on whenever he wants to. Mama used to do that but don't think she still does. If she does he'll have plenty! lol
